Mrs Peninah Ngugi is a detail oriented and experienced Senior Airworthiness Inspector with a track record of making sure aviation rules and standards are followed. She possesses extensive understanding of airworthiness standards, maintenance protocols, and aircraft systems. competent in carrying out exhaustive audits, evaluations, and inspections to guarantee aircraft safety and airworthiness. She is an excellent communicator who is skilled at working with a variety of stakeholders, including African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC), Civil Aviation Safety and Security Oversight Agency (CASSOA), Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) to identify risks, carry out remedial actions, and advance safety.

In 2003, she began working with Airworks (K) Limited as a technician. Later, she worked with Kenya Airways PLC where she rose through the ranks from a technician, licenced engineer given the privileges to grant certificates of release to service for the B737-300, B737-700/800, Embraer 170, and 190 and the maintenance control engineer. She was also as an instructor for aircraft maintenance engineers.
