Working in aviation industry from Nov. 2011 to date in CNS as Air Navigation Engineer under Air Navigation Services directorate of TCAA. With vast experience in CNS facilities especially data communication attained from working in different projects, Eng. Angela is an expert in ATM system (Topsky), AMHS system, billing systems, Voice and Data Recorders as well as Networking systems.

Currently, Eng. Angela work as Chief Instructor for CNS at Civil Aviation Training Centre (CATC) supervising the trainings on CNS and managing training facilities of the Centre. Also, ICAO through the state nominations in 2021, selected Eng. Angela as Cybersecurity Panel member under the workgroup of developing guidance materials for States on how to manage cybersecurity issues in aviation.

Prior to engagement with TCAA, Eng. Angela was engaged in freelance system audits and was certified with various vendors on different domains of networks and security. She holds CCNA, MCSE and Checkpoint certifications from Chennai, India.

Eng. Angela holds Masters degree in Engineering Management with Project Management from University of Dar es Salaam, Masters in Education Administrations and Management from St. Eugene University, Zambia and B. Sc TELECOMMUNICATIONS Engineering from University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Other engagements with industry, Eng. Angela works as ERB co-opted expert, trainer in developing instructors’ competencies, member of Course development unit and project team member for construction of new state of the art CATC.
